| BACKGROUND |
| The Newport Performing Arts Center LLC
owns the Opera House Theater. The mission of the Newport
Performing Arts Center is to provide the Greater Newport
area with a unique, sustainable community asset that will
provide a dynamic center for culture, the arts, education
and civic interaction while contributing to the positive
economic and cultural well being of our region. After
years of research and hard work on the part of numerous
volunteers and community leaders, we are convinced that
the historically significant Opera House Theater presents
the perfect opportunity to achieve that mission. |
